Please note that unless otherwise noted, the majority of what I sell at aVenir Fashions & Dress Us Up, is pre-owned – it has had a life before I acquired it.
Each individual has a different sense of smell, and just because we don’t smell an odor, doesn’t necessarily mean you won’t.
We cannot be responsible for any “odors” of any kind that may come with the item. Because I know and appreciate that some of you are particularly sensitive to certain environmental factors, I urge you to email me, prior to purchasing, about these or any other matters and I will answer your questions promptly and honestly. I have a cat.
All items purchased are shipped by CANADA POST.
Our Post Office is closed on Saturday, Sunday, and ALL Canadian Holidays. Shipping time is calculated on business days only, not in-transit days.
Buyer pays all shipping and necessary insurance charges. Parcels sent from Canada go by weight (below 1KG), if over 1KG, they go by weight and size. All items are packaged and shipped within 2 business days of purchase. Items coming from Canada, using Canada Post, can take up to 2 weeks or more to arrive at U.S. and/or International destinations.
CUSTOMS and BORDER CROSSING
Import duties, country taxes and border charges are not included in the item price or shipping charges. These charges are the buyer’s responsibility.
Please check with your country’s customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to purchasing. These charges are normally collected by the delivering freight (shipping) company or when you pick the item up do not confuse them for additional shipping charges.
RETURNS/LOST and/or NON-DELIVERED ITEMS
All items are FINAL Sale, no returns.
We have no control over how long an item takes to arrive at your home after the postal company receives it, so, please keep this in mind when you’re looking for your parcel.
Refunds will be given for items lost in shipping only if the tracking information provided confirms non-receipt of item(s). We ship via Canada Post, with full insurance and tracking when applicable. If you wish to use an alternate carrier, please advise us prior to purchasing. Please allow up to 2 weeks for processing of refunds.
